TotalEnergies has submitted an application for the single authorisation of its 1.5 GW Centre Manche Eneries offshore wind project, eight months after the project was awarded by the French State. The offshore wind farm is planned around 40 km off the coast of Normandy, France. The application includes technical and environmental surveys, a preliminary wind farm design and the planned installation programme.

Through its Japanese joint venture Japan Offshore Marine, Deme has secured a contract for the Oga–Katagami–Akita offshore wind project in Japan. The contract covers engineering work and vessel charter for the offshore installation of 21 wind turbines under an agreement between Oga Katagami Akita Offshore Green Energy and Penta-Ocean Construction.

Australia’s Assistant Minister for Climate Change and Energy has announced the results of Tender 7 under the Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS), selecting 19 renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 7.8 GW.
