Vertex Search is partnering with a global engineering technology company to appoint a Sales Manager to lead business development across the rapidly growing data centre market in Korea.
Our client is an international manufacturer of advanced cooling and heat exchange solutions used across energy, heavy industry and digital infrastructure. With the hyperscale and colocation data centre sector expanding rapidly across Asia, South Korea has become a key strategic market.
The company is now seeking a commercially driven sales professional to develop new customer relationships and drive growth across the Korean data centre ecosystem.
This is a front line business development role focused on identifying new opportunities, influencing project specifications and positioning advanced cooling solutions with data centre developers, operators, EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
Key responsibilities
- Lead sales growth across the data centre sector in Korea
- Develop new business opportunities with hyperscale and colocation operators
- Build strong relationships with developers, consultants, EPC contractors and key project stakeholders
- Engage early in project lifecycles to influence cooling solution specifications
- Work closely with regional engineering and technical teams to develop competitive proposals
- Monitor market activity, competitor positioning and major project developments
Candidate profile
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in technical sales or business development within data centre infrastructure or related mechanical systems.
Relevant backgrounds may include
- Data centre cooling or thermal management solutions
- HVAC or industrial cooling equipment
- Heat exchangers or fluid cooling technologies
- Mechanical or electrical infrastructure used in data centres
Successful candidates will typically have
- Experience selling into the Korean data centre market
- Strong relationships across developers, EPC contractors or consultants
- A proactive, commercially driven approach to business development
- Strong communication skills in Korean and English
