About the job
Our client is an international and growing renewable energy developer focused on solar, BESS and onshore wind projects across multiple markets. Expats who are willing to relocate to Singapore are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead legal and contractual management of EPC agreements on behalf of the project owner across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects. This includes development, tendering, contract negotiation, execution, variation management, claims, completion and warranty phases. Ensure contractual frameworks protect the owner’s interests and manage risk appropriately.

Ensure technical supervision, certification and project approval processes align with EPC contractual obligations and support owner rights related to payments, schedules and quality control.
- Establish and maintain contract governance and compliance processes for international projects. Provide guidance on the application of standard engineering contracts such as FIDIC and ensure alignment with project financing structures and jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements.
- Support the management of contractual disputes, variations and claims that arise during project delivery. Work with project leadership and external counsel where required on negotiation strategies, arbitration preparation and dispute resolution.
- Coordinate with internal project development, engineering and investment teams to ensure consistent contract management and information flow across the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Law degree with valid legal qualification or bar admission in a recognized jurisdiction.
- Around 8 to 10 years of experience in construction, infrastructure or energy project contracting, ideally within international engineering companies, project developers, infrastructure investors or similar organizations.
- Demonstrated experience managing EPC or turnkey engineering contracts from the owner or investor side, with strong understanding of contractual risk allocation and project delivery structures.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contract frameworks and their application in large-scale engineering or energy projects.
- Experience working with technical advisors such as Owner’s Engineer teams and understanding their role within project governance structures.
- Exposure to international projects, ideally including large-scale renewable energy developments such as solar, BESS, onshore wind, hydropower or transmission projects.
- Experience supporting projects from early development and contracting stages through to execution, claims management and dispute resolution.
