Job Title: Investment Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: Philippines (Manila)

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead financial modelling, valuation, and structuring of investment opportunities (greenfield, brownfield, and acquisitions)
• Manage end-to-end transaction processes including due diligence, negotiations, and documentation
• Coordinate with legal, technical, insurance, and commercial advisors
• Support negotiation of key agreements (e.g., Share Purchase Agreements, EPC, O&M, Power Supply Agreements)
• Drive transactions toward financial close, including lender engagement and financing processes
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for project finance and M&A transactions
• Conduct sensitivity analysis on key variables (tariffs, capex, financing structure, etc.)
• Evaluate project returns, risk profiles, and bankability
• Support model audits and respond to lender and investor queries
• Support sourcing of new investment opportunities in renewable energy (solar, wind, BESS, etc.)
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Build relationships with developers, partners, and stakeholders
• Screen opportunities and prepare initial investment assessments
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal approvals
• Present key findings and recommendations to senior management and Investment Committee
• Interface with lenders, equity investors, and strategic partners
• Monitor performance of existing investments
• Support refinancing, restructuring, or value-enhancement initiatives
• Assist in resolving commercial or operational issues impacting asset performance
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 6–10 years of experience in renewable energy / infrastructure investments, investment banking, private equity, project/corporate finance, or a similar role
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Desired Experience:
• Experience in corporate M&A, energy/infrastructure private equity, or principal investing
• Exposure to SEA power markets and ASEAN regulatory frameworks
• Experience with project finance structures across solar, wind, BESS, or hydro assets
• Prior experience working with lenders, DFIs, or export credit agencies
