As the firm scales its operations and pipeline, it is seeking a highly experienced Investment Director to lead the origination, evaluation, and execution of strategic investments across the region.

Role Overview

The Investment Director will play a central role in defining and executing the firm’s investment strategy across the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. This leadership role will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, leading transaction execution, and optimising portfolio performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial analysis, deal structuring, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end investment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives and risk appetite.
• Lead the origination, screening, and evaluation of potential investment opportunities across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, and risk assessment to support investment decisions.
• Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee due diligence processes in collaboration with technical, legal, and commercial teams.
• Lead negotiations and structuring of investment transactions, including equity, debt, or hybrid instruments.
• Monitor the performance of existing investments, providing insights and recommendations to maximise value and mitigate risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, fund managers, developers, and other key industry participants.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies throughout all deal phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g. CFA, MBA) are highly regarded.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in investment management, corporate development, or project finance, ideally within renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Demonstrated track record of executing successful investment transactions and managing investment portfolios.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with deep understanding of valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging C-level executives and institutional investors.
• Proficiency with investment tools and financial analysis platforms.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and contribute to organisational strategy.
