Hai Long installs first locally assembled wind turbine

A total of 73 locally assembled nacelles were completed this month.

The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project has installed the first wind turbine for the Hai Long 3 wind farm, according to a LinkedIn post.

Taiwanese contractor CDWE installed the turbine using a nacelle locally assembled at the Siemens Gamesa facility in Taichung.

A total of 73 locally assembled nacelles were completed this month and are currently being transported offshore for installation.

Moreover, the project expanded its partnership with Siemens Gamesa to include Hai Long 2B and 3 wind farms in its local procurement.
