Nordex scores 480MW US turbine hat-trick

The Nordex Group has secured three orders in the United States with a combined capacity of more than 480MW.

The company said the contracts cover the supply of 81 N163/5.X turbines.

Nordex added that the customers and projects are not being disclosed.

The company said the projects will be delivered to customer-specific requirements and further strengthen its presence in the US market.

The turbines for the projects will be manufactured at the Nordex Group’s production plant in Iowa.
