Associate Asset Manager
About the job
You’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of solar parks across Europe, driving operational performance, production targets, and profitability. Working closely with in-house O&M and EPC teams, you’ll oversee the full asset lifecycle – from pre-COD support through to ongoing operations – while ensuring all contractual, regulatory, and environmental obligations are met.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day operations across a solar and BESS portfolio, coordinating with the in-house O&M team to keep assets running at peak performance
- Supporting the EPC team during the pre-COD phase, with hands-on involvement in PAC and FAC processes
- Implementing monitoring and reporting systems to track asset performance, identify issues early, and maximise energy production
- Preparing high-quality reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
- Managing budgets, controlling costs, and analysing financial performance to identify and execute on revenue and efficiency improvements
- Ensuring full compliance with PPAs, permits, contractual obligations, and local and international regulatory requirements
- Identifying and mitigating operational and financial risks across the portfolio
- Acting as the registered owner’s representative with local authorities
- Building strong relationships with investors, clients, regulators, and local communities
- Collaborating closely with the wider AM team across Europe
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field
- 3+ years in renewables – EPC, O&M, PV operations, or project management – with a genuine interest in commercial asset management
- Solid financial acumen and hands-on budget management experience
- Strong working knowledge of solar park and BESS operations, maintenance, and performance optimisation
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Good understanding of local and international regulations, permitting, and licensing
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment
- Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus
