Title: Director Capital Raising – Renewable Energy
Location: London
We are supporting an international renewable energy platform focused on utility-scale solar, BESS, and onshore wind projects across multiple markets.
They are looking to appoint a Director of Capital Raising to lead funding strategy and execution across a growing project pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital raising across equity and debt for solar, BESS, and onshore wind projects
- Structure and execute financing solutions including blended finance and SEA models
- Build and manage relationships with DFIs, multilateral institutions, infrastructure funds, and strategic investors
- Originate and negotiate funding structures at both project and portfolio level
- Work closely with development, investment, and commercial teams to support project execution
- Support financial modelling, investment materials, and IC presentations
- Track market trends across energy transition financing and emerging markets
Requirements
- Around 10–15+ years of experience in capital raising, project finance, or infrastructure investment
- Strong experience working with DFIs
- Experience with blended finance or similar capital structures
- Exposure to renewable energy projects, ideally solar, BESS, or onshore wind
- Strong commercial mindset and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in an international environment
