We’re looking for a Commercial Manager with sharp strategic instincts and a deep understanding of Australia’s energy landscape. In this role, you’ll help bring innovative energy solutions like flexibility markets, demand response, and distributed energy services to life for major industrial users and asset owners across the country.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Craft compelling commercial models and value propositions for energy flexibility programs
- Analyse market trends, competitor moves, and policy changes, turning insights into strategy
- Guide and support the external sales team with account planning, customer insights, and data
- Lead weekly pipeline reviews, territory planning, and CRM reporting
- Support funding bids, strategic tenders, and key partner collaborations
- Collaborate across sales, delivery, partnerships, and regulatory teams
- Lead the pre-sales function, including team performance and onboarding
✅ What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a commercial, strategy, or BD role within Australia’s energy sector
- Strong understanding of electricity markets, ancillary services, or energy retail
- High competency with CRM systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and PowerPoint/slide decks
- Clear, confident communicator with executive presence
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and stakeholder expectations
- Strategic thinker with operational drive; able to zoom in and out with ease
