Position Summary:

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the company’s operations, business development, project execution, and overall performance in a key market. The role focuses on driving growth in the renewable energy sector, ensuring compliance, and fostering relationships with stakeholders to achieve the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
   • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with regional and global goals.
   • Identify and evaluate market opportunities in renewable energy, including solar, wind, and other sustainable solutions.
   • Provide direction for achieving financial, operational, and sustainability targets.
2. Business Development and Partnerships:
   • Lead efforts to secure new business opportunities, including large-scale utility projects and commercial & industrial (C&I) projects.
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulators, investors, and local partners.
   • Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
3. Operational Oversight:
   • Ensure efficient development, execution, and management of renewable energy projects from initiation to operation.
   • Monitor project performance to meet or exceed financial and operational targets.
   • Manage risk and ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and HSE standards.
4. Team Development:
   • Build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and values.
   • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
   • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
5. Financial Management:
   • Manage P&L, budgets, and financial forecasts.
   • Optimize cost structures to maximize profitability and project returns.
   • Secure funding and investment for projects, collaborating with regional and global teams as needed.
6. Compliance and Governance:
   • Ensure full adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements.
   • Mitigate risks related to projects, operations, and partnerships.
   • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, including investors and leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of 10+ years in leadership roles within the renewable energy sector or related industries.
• Deep understanding of energy markets, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and business practices.
• Strong network of relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry players.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to achieve ambitious goals.
